Where we are: We are in Carbostmore on the B8009, half a mile before reaching Carbost village.
Skye Bridge to Carbost: Follow the A87 right from the bridge towards Portree for approximately 20 miles. At Sligachan Hotel turn left along the A863, signposted Dunvegan. After approx. 5 miles turn left along the B8009, signposted Carbost Proceed for approx. 2 miles. After the small church on the right, take the first sharp right entrance. Torgorm Cottage is the white bungalow 100 yards along the lane.
Mallaig - Armadale Ferry to Carbost: A851 right from the ferry A87 left through Broadford then follow Skye Bridge route to Carbost above.
Skye from Edinburgh: M90 north to Perth A9 at Perth north towards Inverness A889 left through Dalwhinnie A86 left to Spean Bridge then
for Skye Bridge: A82 right at Spean Bridge A87 left at Invergarry to Kyle of Lochalsh.
